Union Chapel M.B.Church was established to serve the communities of North Alabama empowering them with the Word of God. The scripture says "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world" (Matt. 28:19-20). We are thankful to God for allowing us to share our ministry with you. We welcome you to learn about us and join us in fellowship each week. We are a body, growing together in unity as we not only study God's Word, but learn to live it every day. We thank God for using us and showing us that if we truly keep His Word, following his footsteps, we can truly become "A Chosen Generation". Spiritual Reflections Program -- February 29, 2012: Come join Pastor Davis, the Gospel Choir and the Word in Motion as we reflect on our past, present and future as African Americans. This program will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at 6:00 p.m.in the Church Sanctuary. There will be speakers who will reflect on life in the Motherland (Africa), the Civil Rights Movement and contemporary society. All leaders, ministries, and members are encouraged to attend. Everyone invited to attend.
February is American Heart Month – February 26, 2012: On Sunday, Febrary 26, 2012, Union Chapel goes RED for American Heart Month. the congregation is asked to show support for men and women in your life by wearing red for American Heart Month. Please join the thousands of men and women who are choosing to reduce their personal risk for heart disease. The facts are clear. More women die of heart disease than the next three causes of death. Unfortunately, the killer is not as easy to see. Heart disease is often silent, hidden and misunderstood.
